Birmingham is the second most populous city in England and a main business center, where business and pleasure go hand-in-hand. Moreover, the city is a perfect destination, where you can spend one wonderful vacation, exploring the place and its numerous attractions. Moreover, Birmingham offers a huge variety of things that you can see and do during your stay.

So, if you are considering to become part of the city's unique and dynamic atmosphere, you have to do some things first. The most important one is to gather some information about different Birmingham hotels in order to choose the most convenient hotel, that will completely satisfy your accommodation needs. The second thing that you need to do is to understand which are the best places that you must visit during you vacation time in the city.

Birmingham public parks are such wonderful places, where you can take one relaxing walk among nature and that way you would be able to enjoy your vacation in the city even more. So, here are some of those Birmingham beautiful places, created for leisure:
  1. Cannon Hill Park is one of the 200 parks placed in Birmingham. This park is one of the most attractive and busy green places, where locals run away from their stressful and intensive daily basis. It has two lakes, tennis courts, rowing boat facilities, fishing and cinema. It is also a home to the Midlands Arts Centre, where you will have the opportunity to see some of the regular exhibitions. Also, the centre offers to its visitors different cinema productions and theater performances.

  2. King Heath Park is not a large park but it is definitely worth it to be visited. It offers a variety of wonderful flowers and mature trees. Also, it is a perfect place where you can enjoy the beauty of nature.

  3. Sutton Park is a national nature reserve that covers an area of more than 2,000 acres. The park was a favourite place of Henry VIII, where he used to enjoy hunting. Moreover, the park was used by the military as a training area, during the first and the second world wars. Also, in the summer time it provides to its visitors different interesting activities like aircraft flying, kite flying, picnic area, etc. There is a restaurant near the lake and a golf course too.
So, when you are in the city, leave all your things in your Birmingham hotel and go to take one relaxing walk in some of the numerous beautiful parks, placed there.
