Stansted – the Third-Largest Airport in London

London is an international transport hub. With its five international airports, it is practically the gate of the United Kingdom and Europe to the rest of the world.

We all know that Heathrow is the biggest airport in London and Gatwick is the second-biggest. But the one that follows is Stansted. Some people think that Luton is bigger, but that is not true.

Stansted airport is located on 48 km north-east of Central London. It has one main terminal, situated near a village called Stansted Mountfitchet.

The airport has all the amenities, that Heathrow and Gatwick offer to their passengers. There are rent a car services, good transport connections to London, very nice and affordable airport hotel parking Stansted offers, including accommodation for you and your car, and places for food and beverages.

Not only this, but people using the services of Stansted park and fly hotels, will have the opportunity to explore the area around the airport and visit some very nice landmarks, such as Stansted Park, which is a stylish Edwardian house and estate. This amazing place is opened for visitors all year round. One can practically spend a whole day there, walking on footpaths, having afternoon tea or a delicious lunch at the Pavilion Tea Room, as well as doing a lot of other interesting things.

So, do not think you will be bored if you happen to be stuck at Stansted airport. The area around it will provide you with a range of interesting places to see and take pictures of.
