Piazza Navona, Italy

The most attractive sights of the Piazza Navona are the three fountains. The main and largest one is the Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi or Fountain of the Four Rivers. That fountain was built between 1647 and 1651 and it includes four statues, symbolizing rivers from different continents – the Nile, Ganges, Danube and Rio della Plata. The other two fountains on the square are the Neptune fountain and the Moor fountain, situated at the northern and southern ends of the piazza Navona. Another attraction there is the church of Sant'Agnese in Agone which was built in 17th century and it is one of the most visited churches in the city.
