Pubs Аround Trafalgar Square

Looking for a great way to unwind after exploring all that London, England, has to offer? Luckily, many of the areas that tourist attractions are found in are also home to a variety of different pubs, Trafalgar Square being the best example.
Although my London Trafalgar square hotel was mere minutes from this historical monument, I found myself frequenting the pubs of the area, as they offered such a variety of different atmospheres that I had not come across anywhere else. For instance, if you are looking to further educate yourself on the historical importance of Trafalgar Square, step into a pub appropriately called “The Battle of Trafalgar” on Whitcomb Street. Here you will be able to discuss that epic battle with tourists and historians. Although I did not have the opportunity to spend as much time in this pub as I would have liked, it was a great way to spend an afternoon.

Another great option in the area is “The Two Chairmen” on Warwick Street. This one is a personal favourite of mine, as it is not only wonderfully decorated, but the atmosphere truly allows one to relax. I know you may not be familiar with pubs in London, but some of them tend to get quite rowdy, especially if there is a football game on. The Two Chairmen seems to be an exception to the London pub scene. Although it is busy throughout the day, it is not over the top busy. In other words, it is a place where you can hold a conversation without having to worry about bumping into the wrong individual; such an occurrence is rare, but it does happen from time to time.

No matter where you stay in London: Trafalgar, Kensington, or one of the London 5 star luxury breaks that the city is renowned for, you will be within walking distance of some type of establishment that serves alcohol. Yet, as I have pointed out, the touristy areas are always your best option.
