The Big Question Mark Of The Scandinavian Market

Few weeks early this month was held one of the key events for the tourist industry- the fair in Norway. The participants represented parts from all over the world took place on the exhibitions trying to promote its destination as more as it could be. Besides the fact that the completion on such fairs is ruthless the Scandinavian market itself is quite attractive market segment. Portugal was one of the destination that took participation with its own stand trying to impress visitors with lavish Algarve hotels and beautiful nature. Unfortunately Spain is still having the larges market share on the Scandinavian segment and it seams that step back easily.

Even though, the Portugal is as attractive destination not only with the good accommodation facilities but the nice properties too it is popularity is very low on that market. As the main reason for the negligible market are pointed the low amounts of the investment that country is putting in this market and the low amount of the money for marketing and popularization. In the past the Scandinavian market was seriously underestimated as the efforts where focused mainly on the British market. Nowadays things are changed from one side due to new marker reality from other due to the more difficulties in the Portugal economy. After all what more important is that the  the tourist sector in Algarve finally realized that Scandinavian market have a great potential even Alglarve hotel association members are orienting to take a total turn in the way they are offering its services unfortunately that mark is still remaining a big question mark for now.
