Venice represents Italian art, classic, history and culture but is not the exact place for the party people. If you are mostly oriented to the noisy night life you may stay very disappointed as the city gets quite early at night. The parties till the morning light are could not be found around. Even the most lavish Venice hotels are falling asleep after the clock turned passes the midnight. Of course in case you have the chance to stay in the city during the summer month you can go to Lido Island where the bars of the sand can offer you more rich experience and variety of entertainment. Unfortunately this is just a few months over the whole years and don’t get it wrong the only reason for it to happen is the remote location of the island.
Of course during the day you may do plenty of things, try large amount of bars, restaurants etc, even increase your knowledge about the culture and history of the place. But the main question “what we can do after all” stays for those who don’t want to go to bed early and just stayed quite in their rooms in some Venice hotel. The city is offering few night bars where the tourist and local young people are gathering for a drink. All though they are not opened till 2 or 3 a.m. at least they are something. Otherwise you should accept to have dinner or a glass of wine in the restaurant or special enotecas, go to a classical music concert or some other pretty boring things.
